Dawnette Cigrand, Ph.D. is an associate professor and a coordinator of the school counseling program at Winona State University. She earned her M.A. in School Counseling (2000), and her Ph.D. in Counselor Education (2011) from the University of Iowa. She was a school counselor and teacher in PK-12 schools for 14 years. Her research interests include school counseling interventions for students with disabilities, experiential learning, and school counselor development and advocacy.
