Prior to current position as Director of Career Services at a St. Paul, MN area 2-year Minnesota State institution, I was an adjunct faculty member in Psychology at Concordia University, St. Paul for a number of years and is still associated with this institution. Earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management with Honors.

Previous experiences include Career Services offered at other Minnesota State campuses after transitioning from Human Services, Vocational Rehabilitation, and Human Resources. Through the NCDA, I have the Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) credential and am certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). I have an active independent license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Over the past two years, I served as a board member of the MN Career Development Association (MCDA) and since 2015 on the Editor team for the National Career Development Association (NCDA) quarterly membership print magazine.
